Hi everyone
It's a cold snowy day outside, so it's a good time to catch up with what has been happening at Flaky Snow.
It's been a difficult year so far, but working on textiles and quilts has been a wonderful distraction. Here's a new bespoke quilt we've just finished for a little lad called Rupert. His parents have created a woodland themed nursery in bright colours. This is what we created. It uses an old patchwork design called Cathedral Steps as a basis - with a twist of course because that's how we roll at Flaky Snow!
We used the QAYG (quilt as you go) sashing method and a quilt pattern based on an Orange Peel template which we moved around to create the design.
We are always up for bespoke orders, so contact us if you would like to use our bespoke services!
