We've just stopped for a couple of days to make blocks for victims of the bushfires in Australia. The Wollongong Quilters Guild have started a worldwide request for blocks and then they will make them into quilts to hand out.
Did you know that the bushfires of been declared Acts of God and therefore the insurance companies do not have to pay out? Some people have lost everything and will get nothing from their insurance?
